About This Episode:
Today, we’re in Saigon going down a narrow alleyway to search out the best breakfast (well, at least my favorite) in Saigon!

The woman’s restaurant is right next door to:
214/B16A Nguyễn Trãi

She is usually open everyday from 6:30AM – 9:30AM.

About Sonny Side:
I’m not sponsored. I’m not rich. I’m just some guy who wanted to make the type of travel videos that I would want to see. This show is completely self-funded so thanks for patiently watching that five second advertisement (and read below how you can support this channel).

I am a video director by trade. Each time I travel to a new country I bring a cameraman with me, usually a friend, to shoot as many episodes as possible in a short amount of time (usually a week). The rest of the time I’m working as a video director/videographer in Vietnam and editing the crap out of these videos.

Much love and remember, Don’t Think, Just Chew.

  1. I can't believe this. Lol
I have some works to do in Vietnam for 2 weeks back in January and had breakfast from her like 3 times a week. I didn't know Sonny also ate here, her store is located in a super tiny tiny alley aside from the main street. The food is amazing thou.

  2. I love that street so much! I used to go there with my family and eat breakfast and there was a lady with 6 toes on one foot (weird I know but I miss her) It was the BEST meal I have ever had!

  3. if you had taken your first bite of breakfast at the 8th minute of the video you could of had a 50% subscriber increase.

  4. 9:48 I remember when I was student in Vietnam, a "cơm sườn nướng" grilled pork rice dish cost only 8.000VND. I miss "cơm sườn nướng" so much.

  5. Watching all this guy's vids right now, he's drop dead hilarious, so far he's the funniest guy on youtube. Keep it up with all the awesome content! A really big fan of your channel dude!

  6. I tried vietnamese coffee one time and I swear to God to never have it again. Fellt like floating and high the whole day 😅 My heart felt like getting out of my rib cage😭

  7. The broken rice is part of the top grain that breaks off from the main grain during the process of whole grain to actual white rice. The top part usually low on starch and full of nutrients. It is not the rice that broken because broken rice is as sticky as regular rice. On the other hand, "Gạo tấm" when you eat, you can see that it is separate from each other, not sticky at all.

  8. SoOoOo cucumbers aren’t your thing and Andrew Zimmerman will gag off of spam meat… but y’all can eat everything else. What in the hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. I still love French Toast, Waffles & pancakes made with duck eggs. I'm live'in here in Thailand. I will address you as 'Food Bestie Boy' from this day forward.

  10. Sonny's goofiness is a big part of his charm, and I can't see why some out there can't appreciate that. Then again, some people on the Internet just seem to live to tear others down, and that's their problem that they're so incredibly negative and hateful. Me, I enjoy this channel for what it is, which is entertaining and also educational while it's at it. Y'all can't dig it? Don't let the door hit you in the brain on the way out. Sonny rocks and that's all there is to it.
