So when i saw in Kara and Nate’s Ho Chi Minh travel vlogs that they raved about particular types of coffees in vietnam, (the egg & coconut versions) i knew i had to add that onto my list of things to do when in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).

  1. if you had to choose one of the three which one would you pick? or… are you not a coffee drinker at all?

  2. My gosh I’m so glad that finally a famous (& real) local shop like Cafe Vot is up in one of my fav channels . There’re some spots recommended on TripAdvisor but I know locals like me rarely come to those stands as they’re so expensive and mostly for foreigners (and the taste is not any special to be charged with such a high price) . Next time if u come to HCM , I highly recommend Sữa Tươi Mười ( 10 Phung Khac Khoan street Dist 1, HCM City) which is famous for fresh milk and Saigon cafe latte (actually a full glass of milk with a layer of coffee on the top) and some kinds of bun and bread like VNese sweet baguette or croissant 🥐 This stand has a kinda open- spaced view where u can sit on a pedestrian zone drinking coffee, having a VNese style breakfast and enjoying a fast-pace lifestyle exactly like a Saigonese ^^

  3. We do have Vietnamese coffee in Australia! A couple places in Ashfield have it and its just like how i remember from Vietnam 😀

  4. Hi, Janice 😀 I just knew your youtube chanel last night. I really really like your videos, nice voice, nice travel expriensive…omg couldn’t discrible all how much exicted I can get by your videos. Thank you for that. ❤
Hope one day can drive you around Hanoi by my motobike 😀

  5. You can actually buy instant vietnamese coffee in convenience stores. I get the one by the brand G8. it should be available at literally any convenience store in cabramatta. also i get ground coffee from a shop in canley heights and make it myself at home with the stainless steel filter which you can find online

  6. I swear the note cafe is vietnams biggest attraction, even more then halong bay! Everyone (myself included) who has been to vietnam has been there LOL

  7. Dear Janice,

I love your videos. Please continue to fulfill your dream of entertaining the masses. I just finished a bowl of pho at So Pho in the Changi Jewel, in Singapore. Your video about the Changi Airport helped me to avoid making the mistake of going through security before seeing the Jewel. Thanks.

  8. Never had a yolk coffee but would love to try it. The coconut one is the best! Anything with coconut is our favorite. Haha Those notes are very cute.

  9. We can never come up with anything profound to say. LOL But your expression speaks a thousand words.

  10. We love Kara and Nate too. We use that same coffee net in Puerto Rico. It makes for delicious strong coffee. 🙂

  11. I love coffee – especially Vietnamese Coffee, but not so sure about egg coffee and coconut coffee. Find them a tad gimmicky? Or maybe it was just the ones we had anyway lol

  12. Ca Phe Vot! oh yeah! Our couchsurfing host took us there and yeah, you can tell why it's so popular! Locals love it!

  13. I would go with the egg coffee because it's different. I will have to take a trip there soon to experience it. As always thank you for your hard work with the videos

  14. Just came back from Hanoi. Tried their egg coffee at Cafe Giang where egg Coffee originates from. The coffee aroma does pack a punch but it’s too sweet for me. Also my stomach felt bloated after drinking it because of the whipped sweetened egg yolks. I prefer to drink Vietnamese coffee black sans milk and sugar. Bought loads of coffee powder home and some cost me 280,000 dong per kg.

  15. Can you try vietnamese bubble gum and look if you can pop the gum and make bubbles with it? It would be cool 😎
